TogetherGreen Workshops

Workshop Series:

Humor and EE: It's all fun and games until somebody learns!

Getting worn down by the doom and gloom? Come to the workshop your mother warned you about! A full-day workshop, free and open to all educators!

This supercharged interactive workshop will stock your environmental and conservation education toolkit with tools and techniques that use play, humor and laughter to help you:

1. Open people’s minds to new ideas.
2. Create lasting positive emotional associations with the environment.
3. Attract new audiences.
4. Bring together people with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
5. Bridge cross-cultural divides.
6. Empower people to take positive action.

This workshop series is made possible by Together Green, a dynamic and innovative Audubon initiative, funded by Toyota. Thanks to our partners and sponsors, the Environmental Education Exchange, Intelligent Play, San Diego Natural History Museum, PROBEA, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Arizona Association for Environmental Education, University of Texas at El Paso, TecH2O Center and El Paso Water Utilities.

Facilitators: Aliza Weller, Ian Signer and Pepe Marcos-Iga
